Behind the Gate #7: Declan Wisniewski

Today we are focusing on our guy Declan Wisniewski. He's a national talent that is currently training at MTF. We had the privilege of meeting him and his dad at "Kings Cup" earlier this year. This kid has an unmatched work ethic and the results show it. Keep an eye out for this one, he is going to turn heads!

How long have you been riding and when did you start racing – I started riding summer of 2019 and I started racing in 2020
 
Favorite place to ride – 10 th Street Motocross Long Island New York. Where it all started and Gator Back MX
 
What accomplishment are you most proud of – Making Loretta Lynns a few months after finding out what it was. Second would be making Lorettas this year after breaking both my wrists when areas started.
 
What is your favorite non-moto activity – Fishing and Mini Golf
 
Goals for 2022 and beyond – I want to be consistent. I want to put ONIUM on the top step of several National podiums this year and beyond. I want to be one of the greatest to ever swing their leg over a bike.
 
Who do you look up to and why – Ryan Dungey Because of his work ethic. Kobe Bryant because he would beat his opponents before he even got on the court. I want everyone who lines up next to me to know that no matter how hard they worked I worked harder. Tiger Wood and Kade Johnson who I train with at MTF because they are always the first there and the last to leave.

Motto you live by – Winners have no plan B
